This policy covers two different things: this website (zapyasync.ai), and the Zapya Sync AI desktop and mobile apps it links to. They handle data very differently, so they're described separately below.

This website

You can browse this site and download installers without creating an account or signing in. We don't use cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party trackers here. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which — as our infrastructure provider — may log standard technical request information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operational purposes. We don't use that data to track you across visits or sites.

Software installers you download are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. Release information (version numbers, release dates, and which files belong to which release) is stored in a small database (Cloudflare D1). None of this is about you — it's metadata about the software itself. Publishing a new release requires the site operator's own sign-in to an internal admin page; visitors never see or interact with that area.

The Zapya Sync AI app

Zapya Sync AI backs up your phone's photos and videos to your own computer over your local Wi-Fi network. By default, nothing is uploaded to a cloud server — your files move directly between your own devices.

Every AI feature (search, face matching, screenshot detection, duplicate detection, editing) runs entirely on your own computer. Your photos and videos are never sent to us, or to any third party, to power these features.

The mobile app (currently in beta) can browse and search the library stored on your desktop while both devices are on the same local network. This works the same way — it does not route your library through a cloud server.

A future paid tier

We're planning a paid "Advanced AI" tier that will likely require an online sign-in step to verify entitlement. AI processing under that tier is still expected to run entirely on your own computer — only the entitlement check itself would be online. We'll update this policy with specifics before that tier ships.

Children's privacy

This site and app are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app and site evolve. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
